Do you have a very busy or chaotic life?
Do you find it difficult to find a quiet time to sit down and talk to God, or to read your Bible?
Do you even wonder if you truly value your walk with Jesus?
If you find yourself in this situation regularly, here are a few questions you must ask yourself (and answer them honestly):
Matthew 13:44–46 says this:
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it."
Listen. The kingdom of God is like treasure! We need to value both it and Him to be successful in our walk with Christ. God needs to be a priority. Following Him is not a part time gig. Following Him is not an action that only takes place once a week or twice a year on Easter and Christmas.
Following Him is daily.
Following Him is hourly.
Following Him is necessary every second of every moment of our lives, and there is no better way to show our appreciation for our Lord who died for our sins than giving Him all of us.
