VTSM Mission Trip 2016
We are excited to announce that we have officially planned VTSM’s summer missions trip! We are going to be working with a church plant in Cleveland, Ohio, by assisting them in whatever work they need done, whether that be canvassing, building projects, backyard Bible clubs, etc.
We will be partnering with Lifeway and P2 Missions in order to give your students the best experience possible. Because of this fact, we have not been assigned a particular church (as P2 is still finalizing churches), but as we get closer to the date, we will know exactly what we will be doing and with whom we will be working.
Why did we chose P2 Missions? The answer is two-fold and comes directly from their website. P2M’s goal is to:
P2 Missions Groups will focus their efforts on meeting people’s needs and demonstrating God’s love through action. P2 Missions is dedicated to providing missions opportunities for students to partner and serve with local church planters. At projects, groups minister to a City with a church planter through activities such as vacation bible schools, sports camps, community service, and evangelism. P2 Groups do in one week the volume of ministry that would take a year for a church planter to do alone. Watch God change a life and, in turn, Change the City.

Reaching the City will Change the World. Cities across our country comprise every tongue, tribe and nation. The world has come to us. P2 Missions will focus on hope–giving mission opportunities in strategic cities for not just one week, but multiple weeks of planting, cultivating and harvesting.
