I have learned many things in high school—some of these things I learned the hard way, and I desire that you don't learn these various things the hard way yourself but that you listen to my advice so that you can enjoy your high school career.

​Below are 15 practical pieces of advice from someone who has walked the road and will soon be graduating.

I am convinced that the most frequent lie that we tell each other is when we answer one specific and common question. I daresay, there is a very good chance that at some point in your life, you have lied when answering this question too.

​God calls us to live a life that is sexually pure. What does this mean for us? What is His standard for our sexual conduct? Do we abstain from sex entirely? Or can we dip our toe into the water?

Everyone can change or conform situationally. No matter how well-behaved we are or how "sinless" we seem, no one is worthy of salvation. This is why we must seek God in order to get our heart right for Him. 

Colossians 3:1 reads: "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things with are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God." 

So what does this mean? What does it mean to seek God? What does this look like?
