Update Your Information!
Now is a great time to update your information! If you have changed your phone number or email address or moved in the last year, please fill out a new connect card either in the chairs in front of you or online. If you do not get the weekly email and text, but would like to,, we do not have your email or correct phone number.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Senior Lunch
Senior lunch will not meet in August or September. They will meet again October 13.
Church Potluck - Friday, August 21 at 6:30 pm
All are welcome! The church will provide hamburgers/hotdogs and drinks. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. We have a few items we need - a grill (or two), fire pits with plenty of wood to burn for a couple of hours, and a corn hole set. Please contact Kathy (574-360-4230) if you can bring these items. We will have a volleyball net set up and the soccer goals set up as well. For your family - bring lawn chairs, blankets, and bug spray.
Quarterly Church Conference - Sunday, August 23 after church
We will go over the quarterly financials for April-June.
Student Ministry (Youth Group) - Sunday, August 30 after church
The Youth will be traveling to Chain O Lakes State Park for an afternoon of canoeing/kayaking. Please let Pastor John know by August 23 if you/your student will be attending.
First night of Youth Group and Awana! - Sunday, September 13
Student Ministry (Youth Group 7th-12th grades) - begins at 5:30 pm
Awana (3 1/2 and potty trained to going into 6th grade) - begins at 6 pm

WEEKLY HAPPENINGS:
Student Ministry - When: Sundays at 5:30 pm (September 8 to end of May)
Student Ministry meets at 5:30 pm on Sundays! Make sure to fill out the Activity/Medical form to participate in activities! You can find the medical form at the bottom of the page on the Student Ministry website:

Awana - When: Sundays at 6 pm (September 8 to end of April)
Dues are $15 per child and can be paid at Awana, online, or placed in the offering plate on Sundays.
Young Adults (18 to 25-ish) - When: Sundays at 6 pm
Upper Room Ministry - When: Wednesdays at 5:30 pm
South Side has a prayer group called, “Upper Room” that meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm and lasts about an hour. This is an opportunity to join with others in praying for our church and our community. Even if you don’t feel comfortable praying out loud, we still would love to have you join us. We meet in Room A110. We invite you to come join us and make an impact on our church and community!
MONTHLY HAPPENINGS:
First Friday Bible Study - When: 1st Friday of the month at 7 pm
First Friday is an opportunity to ask questions about your beliefs, your doubts, general questions, or share with others what God has been teaching you. It is usually a small group study and always friendly. They meet in room A116.
Mommy and Me Bounce House Morning - 1st Tuesday of the month
Invite your friends to join in on a morning of fun! We will have the bounce houses set up and a coloring table for kids to enjoy.
Senior Lunch - When: second Tuesday of the month at 11:30 am
All Seniors are invited to join us for lunch, fellowship, some worship and a devotional. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Main dish is provided.

We have many teams here at South Side that you can join.
These are just a FEW of our teams here at South Side. If you are looking to get involved and want to get to know our church family better, mark on your connect card which team you would like more information about and we will have the team leader contact you in the next week or two.

Join a Team
We have many teams here at South Side that you can join.
- Hospitality Team (led by Kathy Minnes) helps plan church-wide events and assists the other teams if needed
- Outreach Team (led by Brandon Saucier) will be working to reach out to pray and involve ourselves in our community
- Women's Team (led by Lilly Saucier and our Women's team) puts together fun events for ladies throughout the year, along with a Bible Study or two
- Men’s Team (led by Brandon Saucier) plays Basketball, Softball, and does a Bible Study or two as well
- Children’s Team (led by Laura Smith) keeps our nurseries and children’s program fun for all ages!
- Greeting Team (led by Noreen Ingle), is the first point of contact for everyone attending Sunday school and our Worship Service every Sunday
- Upper Room Ministry Prayer Team (led by Brandon Saucier) meets on Wednesday nights at 5:30 and prays for our church, our country, and the weekly prayer requests from our church family in room A110
- Snow Dogs (led by Pastor Scott) keeps our sidewalks shoveled and de-iced through winter (and you get to play with the snowblower too!)
- Landscaping Team - helps keep the church landscaping trimmed and looking great throughout the year
- Ushers (led by Mike Edwards) is a group of young men and men who help with offering, collecting cards at the end of service, and helping people find seats if needed.
