Sunday Morning Worship – 10:30 am
What Is Sunday Worship Like?
Sunday's Gathering Consists of Three Parts:
We sing anywhere from three to four songs during the beginning of service so that we can lift God's name high. You'll hear songs that were written centuries ago, songs that have been written by many other churches, and songs that we've written as well—all with the goal of connecting with God and praising Him for who He is; instilling a lifestyle of worship that continues throughout the entire week!
We give because we love God. The Bible teaches that where our treasures are, that's where our love is found. We have a time where we give monetarily so that we can continue to impact our community for Jesus.
We are people of the Bible. Therefore, we must hear what God desires for us to hear, learn what we need to learn, and respond accordingly. One of our pastors will teach from a section of the Bible from anywhere between 30 to 40 minutes. After God's Word is presented, we give time in our service to allow the Holy Spirit to move and work.

What do I wear to church?
Whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Seriously. Don't over think it.
What do the church worship services look like?
Our service consists of three main parts: Worship through Singing, Worship through Giving, and Worship through Teaching.
Our music style is modern in style and song selection; however, we also desire to respect the hymns of old. The best way to see what we mean is to watch the service above.
Weekly, we take up tithes and offerings as a way to worship God with the financial gifts He's provided for us. Together (singing and giving), they provide a balanced worship experience which prepares us to hear the Word of God, which is brought from one of our pastors.

WHAT DENOMINATION IS SOUTH SIDE?
South Side Baptist is a Southern Baptist affiliated church that operates independently of any denominational control. By partnering with Southern Baptists for missions and other world-wide ministry efforts, we are able to offer not only our community, but other communities a culturally relevant worship experience as laid out in God's Word.
Family Questions:
Where does my child and/or teenager go during the worship service?
For children ages 0–3, there are nurseries that are designated by age. You may visit the Children’s Check-in Desk, located through the doors under the over-hang, to sign them in and be shown where to drop them off.
For children, ages 4 through Kindergarten, they will stay with you during the “Worship in Song & Giving” portions of the worship service. Right before one of our pastors speak, he will dismiss them to the back of the sanctuary where their teachers will be waiting to take them to Children’s Church.
For children and teenagers, 1st grade and older, they stay with you during the entirety of the worship service.

Who watches my children?
For your peace of mind, all our children and youth volunteers must be members of South Side Baptist Church and go through background checks because we take your children's safety seriously. All activities are designed to be fun and engaging for your child to learn the Word of God and are specifically aimed for your child’s age and/or grade.
Do you have Sunday School for my child or teen?
Yes, we do! Our Sunday School, better known at South Side as “Connect Groups” takes place at 9:30 AM. The children meet in the children wing, located through the doors under the over-hang, and the teens meet in the Youth Center, which is located in the basement. Teens may enter the Youth Center through upstairs (entrance is found at the top of the ramp, located by DOOR B) or through the lower level parking lot doors, DOOR C.
We also have Connect Groups for adults.

Letter from our Pastor
It is my pleasure to welcome you to South Side Baptist Church. South Side is just a small part in God’s Kingdom, but we believe that we are placed on the south side of South Bend for a reason and purpose. That purpose is simple: to develop passionate followers of Jesus Christ by impacting our world, one life at a time.
Your life matters to use because your life matters to God. It would my heart’s desire for you to see the beauty of the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, and that you will decide make Jesus Lord and boss of your life, today. Our lives do not just end when our time on earth is finished, but our souls rest somewhere for eternity.
It is my desire that I will get the opportunity to meet you and your family this upcoming Sunday, and help you take your next steps in following Jesus.
