Let me be the first to introduce you to South Side Baptist Church! We are excited, yet grateful, that you have considered being a part of what is going here at South Side. Please let me quickly introduce you to our life at South Side so that you may feel comfortable visiting us in the near future:
We are committed to following Jesus Christ. He is our Savior, Teacher, and King. Our supreme allegiance is to Him. Our goal is to please Him and carry out His mission, we do that by impacting the world for Christ one life at a time.
Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus called men and women to follow Him. He challenged them to boldly walk with Him. He promised He would transform their lives and make them instruments of transformation. To simple fishermen He said, “follow me and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). He changed them so they would change the world! He is still transforming people today!
Our vision is to “Impact the World for Christ - One life at a time!” This involves developing passionate followers of Christ. Bold believers learn to love, connect, develop, and impact. The world is transformed through our relationships with others as we boldly proclaim Christ!
